In the vSphere UI -> Configuration -> Manage Policies -> "Oversized and Undersized VMs" - > "VMs Are oversized When" It has "Amount of CPU Demand Below 30%" as the default value for both CPU and RAM to determine when the VMs are oversized.
I'm wondering if other people in the community have found this to result in getting too many VMs reported as undersized. Should this value, for the default policy which will apply to the whole enviromment, be raised from 30% to something higher for most use cases? There are some VMs I'm going to create a custom policy for but for the normal average VM is what I'm concerned with.
Your experiences / input appreciated.
