When I click on my host I can see that it granted 231GB of it 256GB memory. As I get closer to the physical memory, the memory over commit techniques will be activated. However, if I look at the Density badge suggestions it is telling me my latest vMEM: Physical Memory ratio is .9:1 and Optimal should be 4.7:1
I am assuming the memory density is not taking into account the fact that most vSphere admins would never consider overcommitment as usable memory and thus reporting how much it could overcommit? If so, can I change this so that it does not report this as usable density.
Thanks,
