Starting to get the same feeling! I've downloaded the file VMware-VIMSetup-all-5.1.0-947939, and installed "VMware vCenter Server" from the image.
I've installed the vCenter because I want to make a template out of my virtual machine at my ESXi 5.1 host. Since you can't make a template with just the vSphere client..
